DEDICOM has extensive experience with state-of-the-art telesystems for pipelines, including monitoring and control functions, within the context of protected network solutions. This includes backbone networks carrying communication for LAN/WAN network interconnection (Ethernet), TETRA systems, PABX telephones, data interfaces for SCADA and Instrumentation systems.

All monitoring and process control is integrated in the Pipeline Management System (PMS) based on an open architecture, providing a very flexible system, which is easy to adapt to future requirements. The backbone EoSDH or SDH network is based on Optical Fiber or Microwave links. In protected networks where a redundant path is required in case of breakdown, DEDICOM is capable of providing different options for alternative routing facilities, such as satellite link based back up equipment. A radio network (TETRA or PMR) is frequently provided for service and maintenance purposes.
